Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen

"DNOW" Weekend

(Formerly Operation Reality)

April 12th-14th, 2024

What is "DNOW" Weekend?

"DNOW" stands for Discipleship Now weekend, or more simply a weekend retreat for our youth group. "DNOW" weekends are an amazing time where large portions of CWC members have a chance to play an important role in the lives of our students.

"DNOW" will put a high premium on discipleship. There are Large Group sessions that take place in the The Well Auditorium Friday Night, Saturday Morning, and Saturday Night. During these sessions, students will engage in worship from a band and hear amazing messages from a speaker. The speaker will highlight the weekend’s theme in each session! There are also super-intentional small group times where students will digest the message from that night. "DNOW" is a time of spiritual growth and application.

“Host Homes” are a key feature of "DNOW". A host home is where a family in the church agrees to host a small group for the weekend. The host home and students will meet at the home for Bible study after each session. Students will spend Friday night and Saturday night at the host home. Host homes are broken up by grade and gender. Students will share breakfast and dinner with the host home on Saturday. Sunday morning breakfast will be provided at the church. It is an AMAZING way to get a great portion of CWC involved in student ministry.

Speaking from experience, these weekends will be remembered forever. It will have a lasting impact on our students. They will walk away from this weekend on fire for Jesus.

World Changers - Lake Charles, LA

June 10th-15th, 2024

What is World Changers?

Since 1990, World Changers has existed to provide meaningful missions experiences for student ministries through North America. We have had the honor of ministering alongside over 400,000 students and adults eager to serve communities through construction and church planting ministry.
We want to provide more than just a weeklong mission trip; we want to provide the tools and training that equip your students for a lifetime of missional living. No matter what kind of college major, career, or volunteering opportunities are in their future, your students will leave a week of World Changers knowing how to share the story of Jesus with others. We are excited each summer to see how the Lord calls students to fulfill the Great Commission in unique and creative ways.
World Changers construction projects are mission trips designed specifically for student ministries eager to serve in the capacity of construction missions. World Changers partners with local city agencies and churches to mobilize volunteers needed to help them serve local residents. Participants spend a week serving on crews with students and adults from other churches—completing assignments ranging from painting and roofing to building handicap ramps—all to improve the quality of life for local residents.
