Did you know that we have someone in the CWC Prayer Center during each Sunday morning service, each Sunday evening service & CLI Class, and during Wednesday night activities? They spend that time praying for CWC, for our Pastors, for you, and for others around the world. We are looking for more volunteers who would be willing to spend some time in the Prayer Center during our services. We also have a prayer chain that receives prayer requests & prays at home for those requests. If you would like to be a part of either of these essential ministries, please give Kenny Wooster a call at 806-202-3159 or email him HERE! |

On Saturday, April 24th, there will be an EVENT at the Expo building to benefit Jireh Outreach!!!! HALT HUNGER @ HOME is the name of the event. If you have "treasures" that you would like to donate to sell at this event, please call Pam West at 648-2990. They are accepting "gently used" items - furniture, clothing, tools, etc. The organizers of this event would like to have a booth for gardeners & those who enjoy working in the yard. Would you consider planting some seeds NOW that would be a nice sized plant by the time of the event? And then...would you be willing to donate them to the HALT HUNGER @ HOME EVENT - flowers, vegetable plants, bedding plants? Thanks so much, Church! You're the best! |

Next week, March 15 - 19 will be Spring Break for many high schools & colleges in the area. THERE WILL BE NO REGULAR WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES NEXT WEEK (Wednesday, March 17)! Enjoy the break!
|
According to a University of Wisconsin study, 75% of all male college students will be drunk EVERY day of Spring Break while 43.6% of female students will be drunk during the same period. THAT'S WHY THERE IS BEACH REACH! Several college kids from Perryton who attend WTAMU and Wayland Baptist are spending their Spring Break at Padre Island to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through creative ministries. Since 1980 Beach Reach has provided a FREE breakfast, FREE sunscreen, FREE, SAFE rides to students who should NOT be driving, a FREE midnight breakfast, and a time of Praise & Worship daily - all while sharing the gospel! If you would like to support these students in this important ministry, they are in need of financial support (mark your check or offering envelope Beach Reach), and donations of paper plates, cups, forks, napkins, sunscreen, and pancake mix (the add water only kind)! You can bring your donations to the church & we will make sure the students get them!

Check out what others at CWC have going on in their lives! There are many interesting things on our CWC Bulletin Board!
